Hurricane Ida Relief-A Touch of Class Performing Arts

We have some new friends in Louisiana that we would love to help! @atocdancers “A Touch of Class Performing Arts” the former dance home of 2 of our current dancers, has taken the brunt of Hurricane Ida. If you are looking for a way to help out, the dance industry is important to all of us, and we would love to make some dancers, dance teachers, and studio owner feel some love! Here is the message the owner sent our family…

"Things are so rough here! It is going to be a long road… at this point the most important thing I feel people need is Home Depot, Lowe’s or Walmart gifts. We are all going to have to begin to rebuild. Right now now, everyone is surviving mode… no gas, driving miles, waiting in lines for miles to get limited amount of gas to run generators for the people that even have that. Lines to get into grocery stores. They are talking about people without power for a month or longer. I’ve never seen anything like this. It is worse than I’ve ever seen it.

I woke up this morning thinking about all of our parents with trees in their house and what would help… no one needs boxes of anything at this point but everyone could use gift cards… 135 South 6th street Ponchatoula La 70454 At this point, I promise, a child’s card letting them know people are praying would even be great. I can make sure to deliver them or hand them out once we are able to get the kids together. Thank you so much!!!! You have no idea how much this means to me. "

If this speaks to you and would like to donate a gift card, or even just send a hand written card with a prayer or kind word, please drop them at the front desk by next Friday September 10, and they will be sent directly to this dance studio! Thank you for your kindness and consideration #puremovementallen
