Amir Salahu-Din is a New York City choreographer, and teaching artist. He received his formal training from LaGuardia H.S., California Institute of the Arts, The Ailey School, Harlem School of the Arts, and various other studios in New York City. Amir teaches hip-hop, jazz, contemporary, and lyrical in dance studios throughout the city, Westchester County, New Jersey, and in New York City public schools. Amir enjoys creating work that makes a statement and embody raw emotion regardless of the style. He hopes to inspire and foster the passion for dance in all of his students.
