Mary Parker
DXT Founder & Instructor
Massage and Movement Therapist
As a Licensed Massage Therapist, Sports Recovery Specialist, and Strength & Conditioning Coach, Mary is passionate about helping dancers and athletes perform at their highest level while reducing their risk of injury.
Her passion began at home as the mother of competitive dancers and an athlete. After witnessing firsthand how one injury can change an entire season, she developed a deep appreciation for proper recovery, intelligent training, and a thorough understanding of how the body moves. These experiences inspired her to dedicate her career to studying human anatomy, functional movement, injury prevention, and athletic performance.
Throughout her career, she has worked with professional, collegiate, high school, and recreational athletes across a variety of sports, with a special focus on dancers. Whether providing sports massage, recovery sessions, mobility work, or strength training, her goal remains the same: to help every athlete move better, recover smarter, and perform with confidence.
This vision led to the creation of DXT, a performance-training program designed specifically for dancers. DXT combines strength training, mobility, stability, injury prevention, recovery education, and athletic development into one comprehensive system. Its mission is to help dancers become not only exceptional performers but also resilient athletes who understand their bodies and can enjoy long, healthy careers in dance.
In addition to working with competitive athletes, she enjoys helping clients of all ages overcome pain, improve mobility, and move more comfortably through everyday life. Whether someone is preparing for a championship season or simply wants to feel their best, she believes every body deserves to move well.
She is a proud member of the International Association for Dance Medicine & Science (IADMS) and is licensed by the State of Texas as a Massage Therapist specializing in sports massage. Her certifications include Stretch & Conditioning, Functional Movement, Cupping Therapy, Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM), and Kinesiology Taping.
Continuing education is one of her greatest passions, and she remains committed to staying current with the latest research and evidence-based practices in sports medicine, recovery, and performance training.
She is honored to partner with the outstanding physical therapist at BravoPhysio and the chiropractors at PRP10 while continuing to expand her work with dancers and athletes through DXT and her coaching programs throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex.
