"Liz" realized her love for music and movement at a very young age. She began gymnastics at age 3 and competed until a career-ending injury at age 13. As soon as she could, she jumped full-force into dance, training extensively in Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, and Hip Hop. Throughout high school, she choreographed and performed across the United States and Europe with a local show choir group and dance company. She was a featured dancer at the Roses Festival in Roses, Spain, and the Dallas Christmas Festival, and served as Assistant Choreographer for a local Church Choir Mission Trip spanning Mexico City, New York City, Boston, Italy, Spain, and Germany.
Elizabeth was selected as a member of the Arena Football League’s Dallas Desperados Dancers for two seasons. With this team, Liz proudly performed at Texas Stadium during Dallas Cowboys games, the Dallas Cowboys’ Official Draft Party, on Fox 4’s “Good Day Dallas,” and at the Celebrity Concert in Fort Hood for thousands of U.S. Troops. She was also chosen to be dance captain for the AFL’s Dallas Vigilantes Dancers, choreographing numerous routines for them, the Texas Revolution Dancers, and the Allen American Ice Angels.
With a career spanning over 30 years, Liz brings a rich depth of experience, proven expertise, and unparalleled dedication to dance education. For the past 15 years, she has been teaching and directing for Pure Movement, serving as an integral force in building PMDC into the premier program it is today. As a Company Director, she has led her teams to win countless regional and national titles alongside prestigious choreography awards. Additionally, Liz is recognized as one of the leading Acro directors in the DFW area, utilizing her background in both gymnastics and dance to push, encourage, and elevate her students.
