Catherine is a singer/dancer/actress, a voice teacher, an holistic health coach, and a barre/yoga/hiit teacher. She loves PMD and is passionate about being a strong, positive, creative, and  fun force in every performer’s journey. She teaches all styles of dance and musical theater to everyone from pre-school babies to adults. With a genuine love of seeing performers shine from the inside out, her motto is to “leave no crumbs” and “live your best performing life” at any level!

 

Born and raised in Topeka, KS, Catherine has been singing and dancing and acting since the age of 6. She graduated with honors, from the University of Kansas, with a degree in Musical Theater. After graduating college, Catherine moved to New York City for 15 years where she performed professionally throughout Europe, off- Broadway, Broadway Concerts, and in regional productions throughout the US. Catherine has an extensive list of professional stage roles, including, staring as “Rizzo” in the European Tour of “Grease”, as the title role of “Pearl” in the Off- Broadway World Premiere of “Pearl Hart”, and as "Val" in a regional production of " A Chorus Line". She has also been in TV and Film, as well as multiple Broadway Concerts and events.

 

Catherine has both won, and been nominated for, several acting and dancing awards and scholarships, including a nomination for the most recent, “2025 Broadway World Dallas, Best Supporting Actress” award. As a fitness professional, Catherine has been featured in Exhale Spa’s Fitness DVDs, People Magazine, Women’s Health Magazine, Self.com, TotalBeauty.com, and was ranked one of the top 20 Barre Instructors in NYC by RateYourBurn.com. She holds an advanced certification in Holistic Health and Wellness, graduating with honors from The Institute for Integrative Nutrition and Columbia University Teacher’s College in NYC as a fully accredited certified Health Coach. Catherine lives in McKinney with her husband Jim, daughters Winnie and Lily, and pup, Biscuit.
